What to Bring with you to Motorcycle Training

DSA Requirements for motorcycle testing as of the 1st of July 2011

  • Approved safety Helmet

  • A suitable Jacket

  • Motorcycle Gloves 

  • Sturdy Boots 

The DSA will terminate the bike tests if the candidate turns up in tracksuits and trainers with no gloves please think about your safety first, this has been brought in due to health and safety concerns surrounding incorrect clothing being worn when testing and the possible damage you may sustain if you had an accident while on test.

Requirements for your motorcycle training will be:

Both parts of your driving license
Old paper style licenses will require a photo ID i.e. Passport



Requirements for your Module 1 Test will be:

Both parts of your license (old style license and photo ID)
Theory Test certificate
CBT certificate (DL196) 



Requirements for your Module 2 Test will be:

All the above from Module 1
Module 1 pass certificate
